Truth Hurts

Randy’s POV

I closed my phone, sighing and thinking about what Nookie had said to me. I missed her dearly. I just wish I could get her to talk to me. I never even noticed the sound of the front door opening and closing.

I jumped about 10 feet off the ground when Katalina touched my arm. “Who were you talking to?” Here we go. I knew she already knew.

“You know who I was talking to why are you making me repeat it?” I asked truly curious as to why she always wanted me to say it. “Because you usually try to lie your way out of it.” She crossed her arms. “Now who were you talking to, Randy.”

I walked off the porch and she followed me. “Leave me alone, Katalina.” She grabbed my arm. “Where do you think you’re going?” She demanded me. I rounded on her. “Away from you.”

Katalina’s POV

“The hell you are. You’re not going anywhere.” I held onto him. I couldn’t let him go. I still had to tell him the news.

“I’m still in love with Nookie. Don’t you get that?” He asked me. God, way to break a girls heart. I felt like I was dying on the inside now. Fuck! Tears started pouring down my face. “Why the hell do you love that whore anyway?” I knew I had made a mistake by calling her that.

“Watch your mouth, Katalina.” He said inching closer to my face. I was always scared of him when he was this upset. “Fine, Randy. Go in search for the love of your life again. And when you find her tell her I said hi and fuck you.” I turned and ran back inside crying.

Randy’s POV

I watched her run into the house. I knew she was crying but at this point I could care less. The stupid bitch caused me to lose the one and only girl I ever loved and ever will love.

I was confused and not sure what to do. Katalina has been with me for a year even though she knows I’m in love with another woman. But I love Nookie and want to find her to see if I can fix things with her.

I turned and continued walking to my truck. I hopped in and took off, not really sure where I was going.
